I. Basic Raw Material Composition (Hot-Melt Type as Mainstream)
· Film-forming resin: C5/C5 modified petroleum resin, which improves toughness and adhesion and resists cracking caused by temperature changes.
· Hard fillers:High-purity calcium carbonate and quartz sand (with a higher proportion than ordinary hot-melt coatings) to enhance compression and impact resistance and prevent bump breakage.
· Retroreflective medium: High-refractive-index glass beads mixed internally and scattered on the surface. The bump structure drains rainwater and avoids full coverage by rain, realizing retroreflection on rainy nights.
· Pigments: Rutile titanium dioxide and heat-resistant medium yellow pigment, resistant to ultraviolet rays, acids and alkalis, and long-term color fading.
Functional additives: Anti-cracking agents, plasticizers, leveling agents and thermal aging inhibitors to ensure intact forming of bumps and strong anti-peeling performance.
II. Core Product Features
· Dual Warning Effect via Vibration and Sound
Obvious vibration and roaring noise occur when vehicles cross the marking, alerting drowsy drivers to avoid lane drifting and road departure, greatly reducing accident risks along highway edge lines and curves.
· Excellent Night Rain Retroreflectivity
Gaps between bumps drain rainwater and stop rain from fully covering the marking. Its night-time rainy retroreflective performance far outperforms flat hot-melt markings, making it a must-use product for tunnels and waterside road sections.
· High Compression & Impact Resistance with Low Chipping Rate
The formula contains a higher proportion of hard aggregates. The base layer thickness ranges from 1.8 mm to 2.0 mm, and the bump height is 5–7 mm. The bumps rarely crack or peel off at the root after repeated tire rolling, with a service life of 3 to 6 years.
· Fast Drying Speed
The surface drying time at 20℃ is no more than 3 minutes, shortening traffic closure time and improving construction efficiency.
· Weather Resistance & Anti-Slip Property
It withstands extreme high and low temperatures, road oil stains, acids and alkalis. The uneven structure increases tire friction to prevent skidding on curves and long downhill sections.
· Stable Forming Performance
It has moderate fluidity when melted at 180–220℃. Special molds can stably form square, dot and strip-shaped raised bumps with intact edges without material shortage.
III. Standard Application Scenarios
· Longitudinal Lane Markings (15 cm / 20 cm width)
Double solid yellow center lines on expressways, lane edge lines, tunnel edge lines and waterside bridge sections to prevent lane crossing and rollover accidents.
· Transverse Speed Reduction Markings (30 cm width, perpendicular to driving direction)
Mandatory speed control for toll station plazas, ramp entrances and exits, long downhill roads, continuous sharp curves, school/residential community entrances and factory gateways.
· High-Risk Accident Warning Sections
Mountain roads, interchange overpasses and intersections with poor sight distance.
